Was it here that there were some questions about fitting sleeves recently?
I subscribe to the free email newsletter from Threads. There was an
article in there this morning about fitting sleeves. Thought I would share
it here.

Hope that's helpful to some. I just skimmed it and it looked pretty
interesting. ;)

Dear Mamah,

I recently gave directions for drafting a long, straight sleeve. This
sleeve is part of a sloper, and can be used in various ways to design
sleeves. The Threads article on sleeves suggests ways to measure good
fitting garments to get the proper ease, length, etc. in a pattern
sleeve. I think that's a good idea. The sloper sleeve could be the
basis for this.
