Hi everybody,
I want to learn sewing, but I don't know how to find free patterns online.
Simple designs like T-shirt, wrap skirt, tunic dress...
will be enough. I'm computer skilled so printing on several small sheets is not
a problem (and I know someone who retired from CAD
and has an unused big plotter but if I bought it I'd need to hire a bigger car).
Thanks for links, either direct download or p2p !

Go to sewing.about.com and look at their list; I think it's pretty
exhaustive. But if you think you are going to just download
major-pattern-company-quality patterns for free, think again. You might
get instructions on how to draft them, but you won't find the whole
pattern ready to go.

If you are near a JoAnn Fabrics or Hancock Fabrics, they often put
their patterns on sale for .99 or 1.99. You might check their online
weekly ads. Hope this is helpful....Carol

...I don't think their patters are free...and 'free' was the keyword in
the original subject line and post.
