hello,
is there a good pattern company for kids costumes ?

in this case i am looking for spider costume, not too elaborate
(for comfort reasons).

and any suggestions for material ? would be appreciated.
i was thinking black muslin. but then something with a little
sheen would probably look nice ? furry would be the greatest but
too heavy i think , a stretch knit probably the best for shaping
?

I all ready have an idea in my head something like ....

simple outline of spider shape 2 pieces (top/bottom), plump with
a litttle batting (fiber fill), attach this too a long sleeve
t-shirt or make two long sleeves to wear like it a jacket, you
know where it is going

thanks for any helpful advice,
robb

That's basically what I was going to suggest. Although, I would use a black
hoodie so you don't have to worry about a hat or anything. A friend of
mine made one of these for herself several years ago. (to wear taking her
kids trick or treating.) It looked really cute!

Never try to teach a pig to sing. It's a waste of time and just annoys the
pig.
