Once upon a time I bought a lovely
taffeta full slip in a Vintage Clothing
store, with intention of cutting it down
to line a certain dress. Before I got to
that, I wore it as a slip. Oh, lovely!
It really does well with an unlined
dress. It is very good quality fabric,
and cut, AND has a zipper at the side
waist, so it fits nicely. I think it was
'homemade' ... very well done. That was
over 15 years ago and I still have it.
(What ever happened to the dress??!)
Granted, I do not use it often, but when
I do I feel like Betty Grable or some
other 40s star!
