Costume jewellery - again see if your local charity shop has necklaces,
brooches, rings etc. Some sort of sparkly head-dress to be a princess,
dancer, fairy, bride....... Magic wand - stick with a sparkly star on
the end. Medical dress up stuff - a set of scrubs?

Thanks Lizzy,
for the ideas. After reading the replies we went to the thrift
and overstock stores and picked up a couple of your suggestions
(from clearance shelves of course) kid friendly sparkly jewelry
like stuff , tiara etc. . Funny how they know exactly what to do
with the stuff, just make it available. The wand is a craft
project now drying. I had made some scrubs for the older one but
your suggestion reminded me that i wanted to make a lab coat.
and thanks for shout out to Kate for wings

The fairy wings are really NOT for kids for dressing up. They were
designed for adults, for stage use. But they were fun, and the method
could be adapted, so here you go...
