Here's the list for this month:

Another formal for DD. (Another dance at school. The first one was the
annual "semi-formal." This one is "a night in Hollywood." They told the
kids to dress like they were going to a Hollywood premiere....could be
interesting. lol)
http://store.sewingtoday.com/cgi-bin/butterick/shop.cgi?s.item.B4729=x&TI='4729'&page=1

Views A & C. Navy satin for the skirt and the base of the top. Silver
chiffon for the straps and the drape/tie. (silver shoes too!)

---
A formal gi type top for my DBIL. He asked for a silk top, made a lot like
a gi, to go under the hakama-shita and haori I made for him. Ordered
natural colored 15mm habotai from Thai Silks. Going to acid wash it first
so it will be softer, and so it will be machine washable. (my Sis-in-law
LOATHES handwashing things. We all try to keep on the good side of the
little redheaded spitfire. lol)

---
two more navy blouses for the wonderful gal at Wal-Mart. (already made her
one. When I delivered it, she said "Oh good! I have fabric for 2 more."
lol)
---

Then I am going to STEAL some time to make some sundresses for myself. I
love sundresses. I found some gorgeous rayon challis prints at the
Hancock's up the way. (it's closing, and I am so disappointed to see it
go.) I have a couple of really cute looking patterns and I am going to get
those made for myself before the summer is gone! lol

---

Next month:
Make 2 copies of a very large stuffed bear. This is for one of my oldest
and dearest friends. He needs them for a stage production.

Make copies of my DBIL's favorite shirts. (I may get to that sooner than
next month depending on how other things go.) He sent fabric and the old
shirt. Not going to worry about rubbing off a pattern (like I'll have to
do with the bear; the bear is much loved and I will copy him very
carefully) The old shirt has a hole that can't be mended (right in the
middle, no where near a seam and the fabric is so old, it's a matter of
time before it gives out more.) I'm just going to cut it apart and use it
for a pattern. That way if he finds more fabric he likes, he can just mail
that out.

Isn't it a good thing my house is clean now??? lol I have it to the point
that 20 minutes here or there and I can have it right back to clean.
Although, the sewing room door may have to be shut for a while..... lol

I think I need a nap now just from reading this! I had my vernissage
for my Art Quilt exhibit last Sat. so now I must do my spring
cleaning- better late than never! Actually, I'm looking for to
cleaning-up since the current chaos is starting to get on my nerves a
bit. Besides it's pouring rain outside so no possibility of working in
my little garden plot.

That sounds like a bunch of great projects, and I love the formal top
and skirt. What colour/fabric will it be in? And you HAVE to post pix
of the bears! :D

Sharon, you are a dynamo! My projects for this month:

Finish kilt (almost there)

Red velveteen Highland vest to go with said kilt (must be
done before the trip as the Highland Games in PDX are just a
week after return)

Green velveteen Aboyne vest (DGD is "busting" out of the
borrowed one) same deadline as above

Two pair of stretch black twill slacks for the trip

One white cotton-lycra tailored shirt

Two black-and-white cotton "camp" shirts

One black and white print twill jacket

Clean the house, groom the dog, launder all the trip
clothes, decide what I can actually pack, prune the packing
list, go mad....

;-)
