Well, in addition to making a beanie that resembles a dartboard and
getting things organized for a baby quilt, I may have a rather
interesting (to me) sewing job coming my way. My friend who is working
on my business papers (logos, flyers, etc.) was talking with another mom
who has a daughter preparing for her first communion. She has a pattern
for the dress that they want, and wants to use her wedding dress for the
fabric as well as some "details" that she purchased. However, as she
lamented to my friend, she didn't sew, nor did she know anybody who
sews. TahDah!! Guess who got their name mentioned? lol. SO, I have
emailed back and said that I would take a look at it, needed the dates
it was needed, that we would have to get together, at least briefly for
an initial measure, and that before i hacked the wedding dress to bits,
I would make sure to make a muslin from some of my "whatever am I going
to use this for" fabric.
Whee!!!
Oh, and this morning I finished (from flat fabric to finish item) a
funky flannel nightgown for myself from fabric that had been sitting in
stash storage for over a year. Next up is the "Kiss me, I'm Irish"
flannel top to go with the flannel pants that I usually wear this time
of year. Wahooo!!! 4 more sleeping bags to go before I reach tote
capacity, and over 2 months left until craft fair!!

Love the name, but haven't a clue what sort of top this could be. What's it
look like?

Oh, it's just white flannel with the words "Kiss me, I'm Irish" all
over it, mixed in with shamrocks - mostly green print, with a little
yellow
