Wow, what a dress! (Your DD must be looking really lovely in it!) And I had
to look twice at the mend, it's not noticable at all, it looks like it just
belongs there, totally part of the overall design. Just as Joanne says: If
anybody sees it, he's got his nose where it doesn't belong. Or he's - as we
in Germany put it - from the other shore ('vom andern Ufer'); not because
he's into details of dress but because he's got his eyes on the dress and
not on the charming wearer. ;-)

LOL Thanks Ursula. I'll have to tell DD that one. She gets a big kick out
of expressions from other languages/countries. Then she gets a bigger
thrill out of whipping them out on the unsuspecting/unknowing. lol

Sharon, wonderful dress, and your repair is perfect. If you
never tell anyone it's there, no one will ever know. What
pattern did you use?

Thank you so much, Beverly. ;) I'm not telling anyone...are y'all telling
anyone??? lol

It's Butterick B4919. It's a retro pattern, it says from 1952. She picked
it out and I just fell in love with it as soon as I saw it. :)
