Do you have a library in town? A good place to get a how-to book. =20

One I suggest is "Quilting School" published by Reader's Digest. =20
Another good one is "Your First Quilt Book (or it should be!)
by Carol Doak" - available on Amazon.Com and probably any book store.

=46inally there is nothing like hands on experience...stop at a local
fabric store and ask about classes for beginners.

you might also want to join rec.crafts.textiles.quilting

somebody there might even have a pattern to direct you to!

Once you read up on how to quilt then maybe you could applique dumbo and
timothy (timothy goes to school???) onto a quilt, or there might be other
methods, I don't quilt, I was just more curious about which timothy you
mean.
