I am making a very simple seat. A piece of plywood, with foam on top and
then material to cover it and stapled to the back of the plywood. What do
you do to the material so that the corners are nice and neat looking?
Thanks.

Before you staple it ,
Turn the cloth , fold all sides neatly , pin now when you get to a
corner open the fold and snip of the corner about half way , [=3D if
fold is 2 cm cut of 1 cm] now yiu can NEATLY fold the 2 side folds to
become a nice mittered corner ,,, Best is to BUST it all with busting
thread which you can easily pull out after you stapled it !!!

I think you mean "baste" and "basting." "Bust" is something a bit
different, though quite important.

No apology necessary! The meaning came through, even if the word wasn't
quite there, and there's nobody here who hasn't made such a mistake --
or far worse mistake! Especially when I try to speak another
language......when the words are sooooo close, but not quite.
