I find mine occasionally does that. I just gently force it back into
alignment, and oil it *very* lightly with sewing machine oil. A few
openings and closings and then a wipe over with a damp cloth and a dry
one to remove all the oil not actually right in the joints, and it's
good to go again for a couple more years. :)
