Let me guess, it was advertised as such by some unprintable adjective
who sells machines on Ebay and says they are all industrial strength,
right?
A treadle work work nicely. A gear-driven machine will do better than a
belt-driven machine. But if she wants to do LOTS of cordura, she's
better off getting a true industrial machine -- i.e., one that needs its
own table, uses a separate motor that is rated in horsepower, etc.
