Thanks to Karen M and Joanne my spam filters on Thunderbird are
working. I figured that out When I saw a post from Melinda Meahan to a
new poster about one of our semi-resident idiots.

I didn't see the post either! Thought about going to Google to search
it - then thought, "Nyahhhh" ;-)

You're right, it's just a waste of time. I avoid google as much as
possible. to much junk comes through.
