oooh oooh!!! UPS just rang the bell. :) Got some of the laundered tencel
twill from fabric.com Oh yum!!! I've never used tencel before, so I
thought I'd dive right in. Ohmygosh is this stuff wonderful to the touch.
So soft that it feels like sandwashed silk....but with substantially more
body.

I wanted to try Butterick 3791 (A) in this stuff. Like the pattern, have
used it before and it works well for me. Cute too I think. I got 4 yards,
and it's 58" wide. That's what you call playing with yardage. ;) I'm
thinking now, the capri pants (A) and maybe ankle length (D...good thing
about being short, these come out as full length pants on me lol) And
maybe I'll dig through my stash for a shorts pattern too. I'm very excited
about this fabric. Yeah, and trying not to drool on it too. LOL

I've got a bolt of copper-red tencel* for some fall projects. Loads
of body, nice hand. Bit too much warmth for summer, IMHO, but I live
underwater. The humidity is terrible today, so tencel* , like sueded
silk, makes me break out in a sweat at the thought. Be sure to let me
know how it breathes after you get your capris made, wouldja?
Sorry to read you car saga is an on-going nightmare, too.
Frustrating situation.

This is a real light khaki color and fairly light weight. I will keep you
apprised of the pant situation. ;)

Still haven't heard from the manager of the place. I think he doesn't want
to talk to me.... lol Thanks for the sympathy I appreciate it. And I
really appreciate just being able to vent some steam to my pals here. ;)
