I have mine set to download 1,000 at a time, but if I have
deleted a group, I like to get a few more than that when I
re-subscribe, in order to have the "back-story". Saves
show/hide quoted text
having to look up a thread in <spit> google-groups.
I'm almost done with all the painting, maybe I'll start
sewing again next week. ;-)
I have a curio which has always driven me nuts, because the
molding at the top is not "finished" along the back side.
It resides at the end of my fireplace, and is just wide
enough that the empty space at the back shows. So today, I
scribed a piece of 1/4" X 4" cherry, and used a coping saw
to cut the basic shape, then carved and sanded it until it
fits the profile of the molding. Tomorrow, I'll stain the
edges, tack it into place, then glue and clamp it.
Aahhhhh.....
;-)

Well done! I have often insisted that woodworking and sewing are
somewhat alike.

And make things fit, and finish the edges.

... but you don't get to use an angle grinder for sewing! :-)

That no one understands doesn't make you an artist.
