Ok, still no joy.
I have reinstalled Thunderbird and re-subscribed but it's no better . I
ave tried Sea monkey but I have the same problem. I have also tried
reading / subscribing through outlook Express but it's the same result.
The last topic showing on any of these readers is Kate's of the 9th of Aug.
I think it must be my internet supplier but since they aren't replying
and I don't have half a day to hang on the phone at the moment!!!
hey ho keep trying

Here's a quick fix: Use your own news server:
http://news.datemas.de/ at $5.00 a year, can't be
beat. Then dump Thunderbird (which is a browser)
and get a real news reader like Dialog:
http://www.40tude.com/dialog/index.htm or Agent.

Thank you Serge,
I have subscribed to datemas, it took 2 days as they didn't put me on
straight away but they offered me an extra year free for the mess up of not
being put on straight away, very, very fair I say and I am now using
40tude. And what do you know, it works or at least I will know it does once
I can post this.
Thank you good to be back to my semi-lurking state.
