Dear Sharon, The stretch and sew book is wonderful.
I took their course about 100years ago and loved it. It's a holy book of
knit sewing because it's such a good foundation in knit skills. I like
it because not everyone has new machines with all kinds of stitches but
you can sew knits using it for a guide because it's so basic. When I
took the course we had women in the group who were very experienced and
turned out works of art . One woman took the basic T-shirt pattern and
made a well tailored Channel style jacket. It was beautiful. It's a
great find for you. Mine is falling apart but I wouldn't get rid of it
for anything.
