One of my little joys is a thing called a Scooba. It's a little blue
robot that vacuums, scrubs, and dries my tile floors. But I do have to
make sure his battery is charged, and then fill him with water and
cleaning solution, and empty and clean him when he's done. Still, it
beats a mop and bucket all to heck.

She should have looked shocked and said, "Well, but I have
to supervise the thing, the $$$$ are for my expertise." ;-)

heh heh heh Either that or told him she was a Thread and Fiber Consultant.
Supervisors and consultants always make the big $$$. ;)

If it were me, I'd likely have dragged him in the sewing room and
yelled "sewing machine on; make dress." (like those car commercials) Then
shrugged and said "Nope. Guess not. My fee just doubled since I'm
obviously gonna have to work harder now." LOL But then I do have that
wicked streak sometimes. ;)

Never try to teach a pig to sing. It's a waste of time and just annoys the
pig.
