Finally!!! :) Thought you might like to see.

The last 4 pix are the vest all done on the dress dummy. Keep in mind the
dummy is my size. My DBIL is a big guy! ;) I redid the pockets. I
changed them out to bellows type pockets. Didn't like the flat ones. Don't
think you can see them that well in the pictures. (black on black is hard
to get good shots of.)

Emailed him pictures Saturday. He is delighted. So it goes in the mail
today. Hopefully I can get him to email pictures with it on him after it
gets there. If he sends some, I will post them so you can see too.

Whew!! This was a long drawn out project. I was thrilled to do it for him,
but I'm pretty glad to be done too. ;)

Well done!!! It's fabulous, 'though I can certainly relate
to your being happy to send it out the door. ;-)

Thank you everyone for the kind words. :)

Something I realized yesterday as I was wrapping the vest up to ship, I
never could have done this project in the pre-internet days. lol He and I
emailed back and forth so much about this vest. It was important that the
patches that belong together be put together. I rearranged those about 4
times before we were both happy.

I love how the grommets turned out on the belt too. But it's gonna be a
while before I do anything with more of them on it. lol

I'll let you know what he says when he gets it.

Maybe he will get a few pix of himself wearing it? We can wish.
