Just have to brag on my hubby a little. He had kind of a slow day in the
office yesterday. While he was killing some time waiting for a meeting
(that didn't end up happening) he was reading through the local "shopper"
newspaper. (that one that has all the various for sale, want ads, etc.
This has been a long time habit of his, and he's found some gold in that
mine several times.) As we were driving home from the office (my van is in
the shop, so I had his car, picked him up then made him drive in the crazy
traffic home lol) he said, "get that paper out of my briefcase. Look on
page 2 or 3. There's an ad for a Bernina serger." So I looked. Not only
is the woman selling a Bernina serger (of unknown model #) for very
reasonable, she has a Necchi SM, and a few other things. Called her and
have an appointment set up for tomorrow afternoon to go look at it. She
said she has the manual, and a "big box" of serger cones to go with it. :)
She said she just never got around to using it much. Will also check out
the SM. (she only wants $125 for the serger and $25 for the Necchi.)
We'll see what we see. Been wanting a back up serger. This could be a very
good thing. All I know at this point is the machines both work just fine,
and they are mechanical (which is what I prefer.)

Sounds promising. Will let you know what I find out!!! But isn't he a good
boy for pointing the ad out in the first place?? :)

Hey, where can I get a copy of the "Husband Who Bargain Shops for
Sewing Machines" program? I'd like to upload that onto my current
