Spam is a reality of life. IF you view this group through a good news
reader and set up filters the spam is a non issue. If you view through
google groups you're going to be inundated with garbage.
My preference for a news reader is eternal-september. There are others
that are just as good. You have to remember that google is not usenet/
It only archives groups. Make the switch and see the difference.
