HI, Everyone,

I recently purchased a duvet cover for a blanket I've had forever. It
does not have corner ties. So I'm wondering what you'd suggest I do to
be able to use the ties in the duvet cover. Should I sew buttons onto
the blanket? I'm open to suggestions.

Thanks,
Myrna

You can go to any sewing supply store and puchase a package of twill tape.
You can sew pieces of twill tape at each corner long enough to tie to the
ties you say are in the duvet cover. Even new duvets - or comforters - do
not come with ties sewn to the corners. When I make duvet covers I have a
roll of snap tape. I sew a strip of this to each corner of the duvet - and
the other end of the snaps to each corner of the duvet cover. This is great
to help keep the duvet in place. hope this helps --- Kristen

you can also buy 2-ended clips for this purpose at places that sell
duvets and covers. I use these and they work well.
