After your excellent advice on how to make valences, I am done and
they came out great! I have some fabric left and I'd like to do a
lined basket. But I can't find directions for this anywhere. There
must be a place online where I can get some help. Can any of you
recommend a site that might help?

go to www.sewnews.com , do a search for basket lining. There's an article
that covers 2 types of lining for different shaped baskets.
