I'm looking at this ruler online....lots of hype on the site but does
anyone have any experience using them versus the regular rulers which
we have used for years.
Any comments would be appreciated...Thanks....Tess

Which make of quilting ruler has all the hype? I have a couple of
Creative Grids one, and they are fantastic - they don't slip! I use
them for lots of things in addition to quilting.

I think she meant "Guidelines Rulers" located at
http://www.guidelinesrulers.com/
I'm getting ready to read the site now to see what's up with the new
stuff (can't resist new gadgets after all!)

Can't see the point of paying extra for those. I prefer the plainer,
clearly marked non-slip Creative Grids ones. When I'm cutting a lot on
the same line and I want to be lazy, I mark up that line with some
highlighter tape... easier and less fuss than those very short plastic
thingumies.

I read the site and agree with you totally Kate. Plain and simple
Creative Grids rulers are my preference as well...
The concept of these Guidelines Rulers is quite unique, and they would
be fun to try, but I wouldn't spend the extra money on them either!
