I recently bought a Singer 155 Walking foot machine with base and everything
that would come with it new except for attachments. I paid $250 for it. I
was ecstatic, wanting to use it for awnings I'm going to build.

I was cruising ebay, and saw one for $995 opening bid, and a $1200
Buy-It-Now. I did locate a site that were selling them for $725.

I'm still smiling.

eBay prices go all over the board; usually wayyyy high, IMHO. Best deals
are local, via classifieds, garage & estate sales, auctions & thrifts.
The highest price will always be the 'buy it nows.'
