you can make one from rubber hose--check pet stores for air pump tubing
i really envy your threadle machine--sew perfect a work of art

In the USA, sewing machine dealers still stock treadle belts, and you
can also find them online on Ebay and probably other places as well.

Anywhere you can find leather, you can get a leather treadle belt,
either already made with staple at the end, or cut to order. But
sometimes something is needed right away, and there's no time to buy a
"regular" belt. In those cases, the tubing can substitute, as can a
number of thin rope-like lengths. All that is required is the length,
the circumference, and a certain amount of adhesion - not that it should
stick to the metal, just that it should not slip like Teflon.
Vegans use treadles without leather.
