I acquired one of these machines and fixed it (the bobbin winding gear
was, well, crumbs but otherwise the machine is in amazing condition)
and managed to thread it by trial and error. I really need a manual.
I've found a few for sale but alas, I am a broke, no make that uber
broke, art school student and my budget won't allow the expenditure.
If anyone has one of these they'd be willing to scan in and send me or
snail mail me (I'd pay postage!) I'd be so grateful. I figure this is
probably a shot in the dark, but I'd really like to figure out how to
use this machine properly as it has so many neat features that, so far,
I'm only guessing at.
Riccar no longer has copies of this manual available. I've already
tried :(

You need to join the Wefixit group on Yahoo - they'll probably know
someone who has one... :)

I'm guessing the $15 cost is less than you would pay someone to copy
and mail it to you.
