Depends on your ISP and your program
thingie (not the search engine ... the
other thingie.) For Netscape, I click on
Edit, then on Cancel Message, then I
follow the easy instruction.

PS Nimblefingers: Did you make the Ipod
cases without straps? I would have
thought a long neck strap, or a short
arm strap would be useful. But then, I
don't have an Ipod.

thanks for all of your suggestions regarding posting etiquette! I will
put in the direct link to the picture next time - I thought that I'd be
showing all of them at once this way.
In any case - thanks for your feedback about the case. the strap is a
good idea - also, i've been trying to think of ways to make the case so
that people with the video ipod can view it with the case still on. but
haven't quite figured out the sewing logistics yet. the handmade cases
that i've seen so far with the holes near the center haven't looked too
appealing to me? it's hard to get the cutout part right - and make the
stitches look good....

You could try clear vinyl for the windows - like tent windows! Not easy
to sew, mind...

Having come here right after reading rec.arts.sf.composition, I'm of a
mood to perceive a writing problem. If the post had been a bit more
chatty -- along the lines of "remember all the help you gave me? I
thought you'd like to see how it all turned out." -- it wouldn't have
sounded like spam.
One rule of writing: don't expect your reader to remember --
particularly when new readers may have wandered in.
<Wanders off wondering "will readers remember the potted biography in
chapter one when Vorjack gives his 'I was not a nice person' speech

two weeks later?">
On the other hand, given the recent invasion of malicious posts, it
doesn't hurt to double-scrub any potentially-misleading post.
