I know this was a simple oversight -- but for the benefit of the
newcomers who are watching us oldies for tips on how to behave, I feel
obliged to note that re-posting an offensive message is as offensive
as posting a new offensive message.
"Offensive" includes off-topic, off-charter -- in this case posting an
advertisement on a discussion-only group -- and other "not *here*"
posts as well as those that are intrinsically offensive.
I'm not sure there *is* such a thing as intrinsically offensive, since
there is a newsgroup for *everything*, including flames and childish
bickering.
