Spent the weekend in Arlington, between Dallas and Fort Worth. Most of the
trip was spent learning about the various attractions I sell tickets to, the
hotel vouchers I keep, and restaurants, shopping malls, you name it!

Yes, I brought my yarn. I even had time to do a few rows before I drove
home. But on Monday, I had the joy of finding Yarn Heaven, where I managed
to get two new sock yarns and enough yarn and a pattern to make two new
sweaters!

WOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hrumph!

Yesterday I went to the only (as far as I know) Rowan stockist in my city.

It was closed.

That sounds great. What kind of sock and sweater yarn did you
get?? Don't leave us in suspense.

Sock yarns:
Tofutsies (blue and white). This is made with superwash wool, sousilk,
cotton, and chitin
Fortissima Colori Socka Color (red, white, and blue). This one is
superwash virgin wool and polyamid.

Sweater yarns:
Linova in ecru. 74% cotton and 26% linnen
Steinbach Wolle Eroica bright green. 45% wool, 55% acrylic.

One sweater should be very warm, the other one should be a little cooler.
