In the 1960-1 + test digs were made in Akko [ Acre] in the `Knights
Halls`.
Students were invited to join. i sieved out only some dirty coins and
nails, Workers found the armor parts and our proffessor explained to
us how they were made .

When I was in graduate school, my professor gave me a knitting pattern for
chain mail that they use for the Utah Shakespeare festival. They knit it
out of nylon cording because it's more durable than cotton and doesn't tend
to stretch, then it's spray painted silver. Looks great on stage and is
very lightweight. I think the pattern is for a vest, leggings and a hood.
