Hi everyone,

I signed up for a lace knitting class, and we are making the EZ "Pi
Shawl". I have to purchase one of the books with the pattern in it,
and have to choose from: Knitter's Almanac, Knitting Workshop, Best
of Knitter'
s Shawls and Scarves, and Gathering of Lace.

I did look online and prefer the Knitting Workshop over Knitter's
Almanac because the Workshop book has the Baby Surprise jacket
pattern, which might come in handy some day.

What do all of you think?

thanks, Linda D. in B.C., Canada

The Complete Book of TRADITIONAL Knitting , by Rae Compton, B.T.
Batsford , 1983
And
The New Knitting Stitch Library , by Lesley Stanfield , Lark Books ,

Oh - you've reminded me that I made one last year. I'd forgotten about it -
could take it on the cruise ...

Thanks,

Mary
