I am very busy both at work and privat, but
only positive business!
I understand I am "older", I need more time, and more rest(!! ;-))
I cannot understand how I managed earlier days.
May be I am a bit more sensible now too,
giving myself a bit more space!
I try to read RCTY every day, but after a couple of (for me) busy days,
there are 2-300 unread messages!
IF I have forgot any Birthdays and Anniversaries and welcomes,
please forgive me!!!
The spring is late here, spring and summer is what we wait for every
year...
... But yesterday was a beautiful day,
and I am sure some of you have guessed it:
we had a nice trip at the sea!
Nothing is so relaxing!
May 11, our school is 75 yo, and we celebrate the jubilee with a
performance,
where everyone, pupils and teachers, are at the stage (Not at the same
time!LOL!)
May 13, a collegue and I leave fore 1 week in Barcelona,
and we really DO look forward to that week.
WE have both passed 60, and then we get an extra week off!
We can take that week whenever we "want" in the year.
But of course, we try to do it when we make as little "trouble" as
possible.
We are "good girls" and brought up that way! LOL!
We are happy to travel in spring!
It is a better time than summer, we think.
It is also much easier to get a less expensive flight and hotels;
at least we were very lucky this time!
I have just finished a
"something; a bit more than a shawl--- and a little less than a poncho"
for use in the afternoon after a nice summerday.
Picture later.
I also work on socks:
strange enough, I have finished the FIRST in each "Two pair of socks".
The case is that I must have used a thicker needle for sock nr.2,
I was nearly finished when I discovered
that it was "a bit more than slightly bigger" than nr.1!LOL!
Well, I will knit two more,
one with the small needles , and one with the thicker needles.
Then one more person wil be the lucky receiver of an extra pair of
socks.
ALWAYS popular!
Hugs to all of you,
AUD ;-)

Wow, AUd, how nice! We get no extra time off at all. I would love to have a
week to do with as I please. Enjoy yourself when you go.
Higs,
Katherine

Hi Aud, its nice to have some time to be busy just for YOU....here in the
UK it is the May Bank Holiday, we aren't doing anything much, just here
resting, a bit of weaving, watching some old film, and a bit of crocheting,
taking the dogs for a walk and doing nowt in particular.
It must have been a great treat to go to the sea, we shall go soon, but dh's
work calls at the moment so it is not possible just yet.
Enjoy your away days when you can.....hugz Cher

Hi Aud,
Happy Maybasket Day to you and all the others. It's a lovely springlike
day here too, flowers are beginning to open and the trees are leafing
out. One of my favorite times of the year.
Can't wait to see your pictures.
Hugs,
Nora
