Nope, there was a poncho pattern on an online knit magazine (I think out
of Australia) that did this. She sorted all her leftover yarns by color
and tied them together in a large ball, left the ends hanging out for
effect. Looked good.

done
like this. I keep threatening to do it myself, but don't have the
time. I'd
