New Vogue Knitting braided scarf

Anyone else trying this?

I bought Moda Dea Cheerio in Pearl to make it.

Thinking about going back and getting the deep burgundy to alternate
the braid strips with then doing the end on that color.

Anyone have any thoughts on how they think that will turn out?

Jenn in CA - who is almost finished with her first pair of fingerless
gloves. and is also working on Brooke's column of leaves scarf very
very carefully, because that p tbl threw me for a loop, but thank
heavens for the Knitter's Handbook.

I love the look of that scarf, but have no clue on how it's done, so would
have less of a clue as to how it will turn out (grin). Good luck, and
please let us know when you've finished it (complete with pics, of course)
