I can make scarfs and simple basic hat. I am interested in making slippers.

there are lots of patterns free on the web, do a google search for easy
slipper pattern or some such name, I found this one

You can find lots of patterns for anything at knittingpatterncentral.com
knittingonthenet.com and thedailyknitter.com. Just click on Free
patterns on all sites.
