The scarf is so nice and thanks for letting me know about the 4
stitches on each side as I may try and knit this scarf while on a
business trip in February.

Thanks Darlene, it's a simple pattern to remember. Once I got going on it,
I didn't need the printed pattern anymore, as long as I used my row counter.
The border gave the scarf a nice "finished" look to it. Be sure to post a
show/hide quoted text
picture link if you do make it. :>)

That's beautiful Shelagh! And thanks for the link to the pattern,
looks fairly easy. I'm glad you didn't mention another sock yarn
promo! I spent an evening sorting through all the various bags,
boxes, totes and secret hiding places to re-organise my yarn and I
discovered that I have enough sock yarn to stuff a small mattress with!
I am on a sock yarn diet! Big time! No enabling me! I will not hear
you!

It was very easy. Don't forget to add a border of some kind to keep the
show/hide quoted text
edges from curling ;>)

Oh, you're welcome (snicker). Always glad to help.

Great work! The colour is great too - really suits the elegant lace
pattern.
