My beautiful village of Lacock, is soon to be shut to the public for a whole
day, cos Camilla P.B.'s daughter is getting married in our Church. Mrs
P.B. still owns a house on the edge of Lacock, and so this is their local
church. not sure what day it is to be now, but it was in our local village
news paper telling us that the roads will be closed etc.
Wonder if I'll still be able to walk the dogs across the fields...probably
not, normal life has to come to a standstill, whilst this goes on.
It's a right weird sight when she used to pop into my local tiny garage for
fuel, one guy would get out and fill up, whilst two others leant on the
front of her little 4x4, before she married bonnie prince charlie, she would
just drive in and fill up herself..
oh well times change I guess.

Hi Cher,
Better get a camera ready just in case you happen to see them.
Hugs,

I'm always annoyed by this sort of thing, we don't see them for years, none
of the Royals ever bother with our tiny village, then suddenly they put a
huge security on the place (which is tiny tiny), cos some one related to the
heir is gonna get married there, guess most are pleased about it, but it's
not as if they will put any money into Lacock, as all the shops will be
closed for the day.. and it is doubtful they will ever visit the place
again, oh well...lol
