It's a good thing I no longer hold onto the 'small stuff', otherwise I'd be
feeling extremely bitter now. But, since enlightenment, which is an ongoing
process, and a lot of research, I just don't have bitterness in my heart or
head anymore. I'm finding tis better to be GRATEFUL for what we DO receive,
and I'm thankful for the few cards we daughters have received. My sister, on
the other hand is angry, hurt and bitter...but those are her feelings, and I
guess she's entitled to them.
I've been extremely busy, but not knitting. Busy clearing up loose ends, busy
journaling, busy meditating, busy learning many new and exciting ways of
looking at the world through new eyes.
I hope that everyone here is healthy, happy and busy.
Hugs,
Noreen

Noreen ,,,
For the time being , you just have to take every day as it comes ,
if a smile comes enjoy it , if a tear falls from your heart or eye,.
just let it do it`s job.
if you can take a daily WALK , drink some water, breath in some fresh
air.
You started a new period in your life , it takes adjusting ,

Oh Noreen, my heart goes out to you as that is a very hard lesson to
learn. It took me a while after my son was killed to learn that. At first
I was not only angry at the waste and at my sense of loss, but guilty as I
felt it should have been me and that I should have stopped him from
leaving home to go to his new job. (How to have done that I never worked
out, just felt it should have been that way).

It took time to learn that I had not been "entitled" to such a child but
that every day of the twenty years he was with us had been a blessing.
(Truthfully, he could be very naughty and some days had felt like a curse
- even those days I learnt to look at and smile for how much I had
learnt from them). As he died miles away from home it was only we, his
immediate family, who attended his funeral. Your sister still has to learn
these things.

It is good that you are learning also Noreen. There will be days when all
you have learnt will be forgotten and the negative feelings will flood
back and swamp you - that also passes and each time it happens becomes
farther apart a of less duration although it never goes away completely.
If it did I believe we would lose all we have gained! :-)

I hope that everyone here is
