More S.E.X. (which HAS to stop!!)
This was their 30th Anniversary sale, and for a change, the 30% off was
applied to everything in the store, including the already marked down
clearance yarn. (I'm hoping I can stay away for the rest of the sale).
I went to the store with a very small list of items I wanted.
4 balls of King Cole Luxury Mohair to go with the 4 balls I acquired from a
friend who got them for $1 each at a garage sale.
2 different coloured balls of Rowan Kidsilk Haze for scarves. (my friends
and I call this yarn "porn") I bought a beautiful red, and a burgundy.
The following items were not on the list, but I bought anyway:
A Ram Wools yarn tote - it's just plain cream coloured canvas, but will
probably be a gift to a knitting friend.
Then,I found Rowan's Tapestry yarn which is a wool/soy combo. This yarn is
to die for. It's a DK weight and slightly nicer than the Patons SWS yarn.
I limited myself to 2 balls to make a scarf for myself - pattern is yet to
be decided.
heeee heeee heeeee heeeeeee

Many years ago, Ram Wools, had a shop in Minneapolis. I'm still sad that
they closed it. Happy knitting, Shilagh
