I live fairly close to Holmfirth so wanted to go to Rowan /yarns for some
yarn - and for self indulgence.

The web site doesn't mention personal shopping and gives no opening hours.
When I telephoned the recorded message gave me 'office hours' only.

Does anyone know if it's possible to visit Rowan Yarns in person?

Mary, I don't live in the UK. When I visited Holmfirth, tours of the Rowan
spinnery were given for groups only. I would suggest Upcountry Yarns for a
large selection of Rowan. They are just around the corner from the mill.

LOL! I meant the site :-)

But we might go today - there are bits of blu in the sky and the rain has
stopped ...

I'll report when we've been, there are other things to do today :-(
