I think I need a basic Stitch Dictionary. I'd like something that is
just a bunch of different stitch patterns. Does anyone have
suggestions. I'd like to hear about good books, and if there are books
to avoid, I'd like to hear that, too.

TIA

Hesira

As a newbie - taught myself again a year ago - I cannot live without my
"The Knitter's Handbook"

It's saved me more than a few times. especially on Brooke's lovely
Column Leaves Scarf, which is my first intricate pattern attempt.

There's another - The Knitter's Bible - that many people recommend.
