I find myself with an extra copy of a couple of books. I'd like a
"pair" of socks (ie, sock yarn) in exchange, or make me a reasonable
offer...

Sheilagh Hollingsworth "Fair Isle Knitting", recent reprint; large
format paperback, practically new

Nancy Bush, "Knitting on the Road", spiral-bound hardcover, shelf wear
but otherwise new. Not sure if this is an original printing or one with
corrections incorporated.

I'll ship via USPS book rate. If you're not in the US but want BOTH
books we'll work something out.

Wooly,

Have you worked out a swap yet? I've got a hank of Cherry Tree Hill
in a manly brown with some flecks of blue and gray called Java. I
bought it last year to make DH some socks, and haven't gotten around
to it. It's still in a hank and has been stored in a ziploc.

I've tried looking the Hollingsworth book up, but don't find it
online. Got some info?

Hesira

Let me know if you're interested. I'll c

Think maybe you'll need to email Wooly rather than reply here at the NG....

Thanks, Noreen.

I was thinking the same thing, but I thought more info on the
Hollingsworth book, might be of interest to others as well as myself.
'Course, this is moot if the trade is already made.

Hugs

It would help if I spelled the name correctly: SHELAGH HOLLINGWORTH

BUT, BUT BUT

Even that won't do you any good, because the author is really

SHEILA MCGREGOR

About the only thing I got remotely right was the title. I guess
that'll teach me, won't it!
