arrived today from Wendy Johnson of Wendy Knits blog. It's Trekking XXL, a
100 gm ball, 75% wool 25% nylon. Follow the link for a picture. Can't wait

Probably not quite as quickly as I'd like. I'm hard into 2 Christmas
projects right now that require all my knitting time. Plus, rather than
make a plain pair of socks (which would be fine)..... I'm leaning towards
trying the Pomatomus socks from Knitty, and something tells me they aren't
easy. One of the women in one of my knitting groups has a pair started in a
variegated yarn and they look awesome. Go here to have a look, but be sure
to scroll down to the pic near the bottom. The top pic is a little
"twisted" (snicker):
