I agree with all your criticisms of that pattern.

I don't think even that would help. In my opinion, the pattern
is ugly and the color combination was unpleasant. The yarn
would be better served being made into three other projects.

Good Lord, Shelagh! And I wonder how much it cost to knit that?

Actually I kind of like it. *ducks* I do think the coloring is bad for the
sweater, something not as noticable. It looks like a sweater that would be
nice to put on during one of those lazy days. Though I could never
understand the pulling the neckline of the shoulder thing.

Hey (grinning) - one person's meat is another one's poison..... to each
his/her own! I'm sure there will be some people who will knit that thing -
but it won't be me.

Me either - I think you have to be pin-thin for something like that to
work - and I am "fluffy". (smirk)

I think the off-one-shoulder thing can work on fluffy people--but there
has to be drape in the fabric. That sweater is too bulky to be worn
that way.
I'm a person who easily gets overheated in cold weather (I think my
metabolism kind of cranks up) so off-the-shoulder does appeal.
