Hi Everyone,

Well, the question I have about the threads exchange is this, is there
enough interested in it to continue it on a montly basis? Lately there
have been only six or seven every month and some of you lovely ladies
have had two partners in a month and I know you have all had the same
person at least twice, the exception is a new person who signs up. I'm
willing to keep doing it, but need to know who everyone feels about it.

Hugs,

Nora

Please keep it going, I have just gotten started again and would love
to be able to get enough squares to make an afghan with. Maybe in order
to get enough squares, maybe, we could up the amount of squares, lets
say to 4, just a thought. I vote YES for keeping it going.

I've been hoping more would participate but there just doesn't seem to be
enough interest to continue the threads exchange.

I know that I haven't really any right to speak on this, as I stopped
organizing the exchange a while back, and Nora kindly took it on. But IMHO I
think if there isn't a good sized group doing it, then it is just a fair bit
of work for Nora to have to keep doing. I think maybe it has run it's
course. Nora has a lot to do to keep track of the comfortghans, do her own
knitting, organize and keep track of the 6x6 exchange, etc. (Yes, Nora, I
know you really don't mind, but still....) :-)

I really don't have the right to speak about this subject because I have
never taken part in either of the exchanges (due to lack of postage, not
lack of interest). However, I was thinking about this and thought I would
toss in a suggestion to see if this might help a bit for those who are
interested in the Thread Exchange and don't want to lose it entirely. Would
it be acceptable for those who are interested in *both* to have an asterisk
beside their names and then those people could be matched up (not
necessarily every month if that would match the same people up
repeatedly)... then they could send a few threads along *with* their two 6x6
squares?

Just a thought... I don't know if that would help or mess things up.
*shrug*

Peace!
