Reason to ask US rather than worldwide friends, I don't know if our sizing
system is the
same
Reason to ask LADIES, its a bra question, LOL
Here goes: remember a few years ago when the fashion industry changed our
sizes, thereby
making larger women feel smaller?
Well, I wondered if they did the OPPOSITE with bra sizing, making littler gals
feel
bigger?
EXPLANATION: I've worn a b cup all my life, and suddenly wear a c !!
Thanks,
Noreen

Bra cup sizing is inconsistent from manufacturer to manufacturer.

http://braexperience.com/SizeChart.htm

In addition to that, with most makes, the cup volume is not consistent
from band size to band size. E.g., if I have this right, a 34B cup has
the same volume as a 36C cup.

This all assumes, of course, that you have been properly fitted for a
bra all along. Most ladies pick a cup size that is too small and a band
size that is too big -- no wonder they hate their bras.

I think it's the other way - a 36B is about the same as a 34 C

Well, I knew the cup size changed with the band size to get the same
volume, but I couldn't remember which.

Smaller cup, larger band; larger band, smaller cup.
