They will do a biopsy, although not surgical and not needle either, it'll be

however, they must "know"
it's cancer, as they've already made an appt. for her with an oncologist.
As it stands 'right-now', they will do radiation to shrink the mass, whether
it's cancer or not. They will chemo as well if its cancer.
Right now, it is unknown if it started in the liver and spread to the pancreas,
or if it started in the pancreas and spread to the liver. (Pancreatic cancer
would BE the WORST case scenario.
As of right now, mom's spirits are GOOD.

My sister, bless her heart, has only really had a 'relationship' with mom these
past few years, so she is taking this much harder than I am. Also, the RN in
her (sister) thinks of mom as 'giving-up'... I Do NOT agree, I feel that the
woman is 80, she's suffered a LOT, and if she's tired, she's entitled....
