Sure you could... it's a lot easier than it looks. You start out at the top
with two rows in the black yarn, then each "shell" is knitted along the line
of stitches from the black yarn rows. After that, you pick up stitches
between the shells and keep going for approximately 8 - 10 rows of shells.
There is a set of decreases for the bottom. I weave the ends in as I go and
it makes it very tidy inside the bag. If you can knit and purl, you can
make this bag. You also need a washing machine (preferably top loading) to
felt it. The black yarn handles are just long pieces of I-cord.

Here's a picture of the first row of shells:

Then a picture of 4 rows of shells:

I think i got the idea , it seems that one has to knit the black after
each coloured row ?

Do you mean this one?
http://s227.photobucket.com/albums/dd111/yarnfanatic1/Knitting/?action=view&current=RedRabbitTracksScarf.jpg

If this is it, I call it Rabbit Tracks, and it was a free pattern which you
can get here:
http://spindyeknit.com/patternfiles/rabbit-tracks/

If you mean this one, it's called Clapotis and is a free pattern at
Knitty.com

Here's a link to the pattern:

Cheers!
