Leah , this is really remarkaable i can`t work so quickly.
If you are selling the scarves for charity , you might make some
smaller items as well ???

The request wasn't for too many items, but I was asked specifically to
make scarves. I found an old crochet pattern in my box of magazines
and books that is a good pattern for men and works up really quickly.
The other scarf style I found for women also works up quickly.

As for smaller charity items, I use a friend's hat pattern she
designed and make those to drop in the donation boxes that spring up
around here in the fall.

Hi!
I am glad at least some of you still remember me. I mean I have not been
here for a long time. Much moving and all kind of messes has happened. And
one time I had no access to newsgroups at all. I mean at all! I decided to
accept the fact that I had lost contact with those people. But when I got
Vista and Windows Mail, it seems the newsgroups are back too. WOOHOO!

I've learned to knit socks - at least somehow. I know they're far from good,
but I'd like to believe they're at least decent. And then I have one
favourite bear pattern too. Today I found a bag pattern. I know I can't make
it exactly as the pattern is, so I thought I must substitute some parts and
make them in another way. This far it seems good.

Marilyn spun a FINE 'yarn':

+I am working on socks for my sisters birthday. I am late- her birthday was in
July. Oh well, she still owes me a lunch and movie for my birthday this past
February. LOL. I am planning on knitting lots of baby sweaters, booties etc.
since my DH and recently found out that our oldest daughter and her DH are going
to be parents! This will be our first grandchild. We are so excited!!!
